About Lil Thickies:

Each of Mary's handmade oil paintings for the Lil Thickie collection was created using a real-life model as a reference, with their full consent. In November 2025, Mary appealed to the public for intimate photos to use as additional references. The response was overwhelming, with over 150 submissions, including the one used in this piece. The vulnerability, trust, and generosity of the models who shared their personal moments with Mary as an artist have been a continual source of inspiration for their art.
